AirStar

A new reference for caloric testing

The AirStar is used for dry thermal examination of the vestibular function by means of air. The AirStar is the most suitable device for caolric testing where water irrigation cannot be performed due to medical reasons or when no water is available in the vestibular room.

The AirStar air caloric insuflator sets a new standard with it's precise temperature and flow rates. Caloric test is the key in the VNG/ENG test battery and air caloric irrigation is a proven and safe method. With the AirStar, the clinician can feel assured that the stimulus delivered to each ear is exactly the same due to : Lighted otoscope head with lens to insure a correct irrigation, user programmable sound to ensure irrigation time, fixation, ..., therrmal sensor in the otoscope to ensure the delivery of a correct temperature (0.2 C accuracy) and portability, can be used anywhere to ensure accurate and stable temperature to protect against infection.
